Economic Growth Driven by Manufacturing

The manufacturing industry employs nearly 12 million men and women who make things in America. It contributes more than $1.6 trillion to the U.S. economy annually, is the largest driver of economic growth in the nation and accounts for the lion’s share of private sector research and development.  We have recently heard about re-shoring and how business that left the U.S. is now coming back. This is a tribute to the manufacturing industry’s leaders’ and entrepreneurs’ constant attention to quality, innovation and resourcefulness.

Corbett, Duncan & Hubly, P.C. continues to support this industry and is proud to sponsor a Tool and Manufacturing Association (TMA) event welcoming Jay Timmons,  the President and CEO of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), the largest manufacturing association in the United States. Mr. Timmons is one of the most influential people in the manufacturing industry.  He promotes a broad-based agenda to strengthen the U.S competitiveness and bring about a manufacturing renaissance.  When the United States Congress or the White House needs input from the manufacturing industry, they contact Jay Timmons.

If you would like to take part in the TMA event the morning of July 24th you can register at or call the TMA at (847) 825-1120.  I look forward to seeing you there!
